Dare to Descend!

Join TV's Steve Brown and Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research for an adrenaline fuelled rooftop climb and exhilarating 152ft abseil off the edge of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday 18th September from 12pm.

A truly unforgettable challenge awaits our most daring supporters this Autumn!

We need a team of fearless fundraisers to brave our abseil challenge and launch themselves from the stadium rooftop before descending 152ft (46.8m) to the ground, all in aid of Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research!

If you're feeling adventurous and fancy a different fundraising challenge, then this thrilling experience will guarantee to get your heart pumping as you enjoy breath-taking views across London.

The challenge is a great way to test your nerves and face your fears, so a perfect fundraiser to get sponsored for!

Taking place on Friday 18 September, participants will enjoy the Dare Skywalk rooftop climb, before abseiling to terra firma below! The 'EDGE' abseil is the only controlled-rate descent off a stadium in the UK.

After a safety briefing with your climb guide, you will get harnessed up ready to scale the stadium on an exposed walkway. After reaching the roof, you will get up close with the iconic golden cockerel and step out onto a glass walkway above the pitch, before preparing for your abseil descent.

The challenge can be done solo, with a friend or as part of a team, so why not join forces with your colleagues for a fun and unique team-building experience?

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We ask you to pay the registration fee to sign up, then raise £250 in sponsorship.

Our fundraising team will also be there to support you, and all participants receive the following as part of your commitment to fundraise for us:

  • Charity t-shirt
  • A dedicated support team, providing fundraising advice and guidance
  • Certificate of Achievement

See below for event FAQs for further details. If you have any other questions about the challenge, please get in touch!

Thank you for your bravery!
