To help people with their rehabilitation
My dad spent 4 months in St Andrews Ward before he sadly passed away. Every single member of staff were amazing. His care was second to none.
My cousin was paralyzed in a diving accident, and for him I am going in a wheelchair for a full day on May 18th. I will be sponsored by friends and family and raise money for spinal cord research.
We support people daily following a spinal cord injury and see all too often the challenges and perceptions they come against. Raising vital funds and awareness to support people following paralysis is one of the additional ways we can care and support.
A great cause trying to make a difference to people with spinal cord injury
Bill, Pat, Dan, Sean, Dom, Ricks, Joe, Rob and Rachel will be completing Tough Mudder at the end of August and would like to raise money for the wonderful Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research charity
Stoke Mandeville is very close to my heart. The time and effort that was put into my mums recovery and other patients there was just amazing. And if this charity can help further research into new ways to help those with spinal injuries and keep the level of care that Stoke Mandeville provides, this was a no brainer.
