Big Vertical Challenge

What heights will you go to in 2026?

Our Big Vertical Challenge fundraising challenge invites you and your friends/family/work colleagues to see how high you can collectively ascend (and descend!)....by any means possible.

Choose your activity/ies and ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you to keep you motivated! Get your supporters to match metres/steps for £ and watch your vertical fundraising efforts take off!

Whether you want to go up by taking the stairs at work, climbing The Shard, hiking up hills, taking on the 3 Peaks or via hot air balloon; or come down by braving an abseil or skydive, (or even go below ground caving or scuba diving), we want to hear about it!

We have plenty of other ideas for activities to take on, and if you want, you can participate in multiple activities over the course of the challenge to add to your individual or team total! After you've completed your challenge, let us know the results of your endeavours and we will send you a fundraising certificate and post your fundraising story on our website and social media!

Here Heidi Herkes, one of our Ambassadors, lets you know what she will be doing!

Pick a category below to explore and find your vertical adventure!

Get in touch to find out more or for any support you need with the challenge at [email protected].
