Despite the odd shower, and very blustery winds, our Superhero fundraisers wheeled, ran, scooted, biked and swam their way around Dorney Lake, home to the Olympic rowing as part of the Marvel Superhero Triathlon on 12th August.

Thank you to our teams from Bolt Burdon Kemp with their friends from Stoke Mandeville Maulers, and our individual participants, Sophie Shane, Holly Cossutta (from Aspire Law), Davey Jose and Bobby Seagull who together have raised more than £6,000 to support our vital research.  We'd also like to thank Zarenna Porter for all her help on the day cheering on our teams and helping on our busy stand with her cheery smile!

Everyone had a SUPER day and enjoyed being part of the UK's only disability sports series. Wonder Woman (for the day!) Holly said "What a great day it was!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was fantastic to see so many people coming together for a fun day out in aid of such an amazing charity!"

Ambassador Sophie Shane (another Wonder Woman!) said "What a great success the day was - it was lovely to get out in the fresh air and it always amazes me how generous people are with their donations!"

The next Superhero mission is a Winter Wonderwheels event where you can run, wheel, bike or scoot around Dorney Lake (1km, 5km or 10km) in your most festive outfits on December 3rd 2023. If you want to find out more or get involved, please email [email protected]
