Ella Gravett takes to the skies to honour her Grandad

Ella is taking on a courageous skydive to raise funds for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research—a charity close to her heart.

Ella says:

"In 2014, when I was 7 years old, my grandad had an accident that caused a spinal cord injury, leaving him a wheelchair user. He spent 9 months in hospital and sadly passed away 5 years later due to complications linked to his injury.

My grandad spent a significant amount of time at the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital during his recovery.

Now I am older, I've decided to do a skydive in his memory to help raise money for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research, funding spinal cord injury research to support those affected in the future, hoping to improve care, treatment and recovery."

You can support Ella in her remarkable challenge by contributing to her fundraising campaign. Every donation helps Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research fund life-changing work to improve the quality of life for people living with spinal cord injury. https://www.justgiving.com/page/ellagravett
