Over 100 people registered for our Sex and Relationships webinar where attendees heard Helen Thrussell (Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist, National Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville) give a hugely informative and insightful talk into the impact of spinal cord injury on a person's relationships and sexual wellbeing.

She was joined by Kat Panagaki and Jamie Rhind who each gave moving and honest accounts of their personal experiences of intimacy and relationships since they sustained their spinal cord injuries.

We were extremely grateful to Helen, Kat and Jamie for their time and thoughtful discussions and everyone went away feeling far more empowered to hold conversations around intimacy and spinal cord injury.

Our special thanks also goes to Aspire Law who kindly sponsored the webinar, and in doing so made a valuable contribution to Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research's projects.

You can view the full recording of the webinar on YouTube here (requires sign-in to confirm you are 18+, given the nature of the discussion).
