Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research (SMSR) is delighted to be working alongside Buckinghamshire Business First as a Charity Partner for the forthcoming Buckinghamshire Business Leaders’ Dinner, taking place at Waddesdon Manor on Wednesday July 13th.

Luke Delahunty, SMSR Charity Ambassador, will be delivering an after-dinner speech on inclusivity and accessibility, drawing on his own experiences as a wheelchair user since a motorbike accident in 1996 left him paralysed from the chest down.

Following his injury, he spent four months receiving treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and later worked at the National Spinal Injuries Centre based at the hospital. It was during this time he was first introduced to SMSR, and subsequently became involved in supporting our work in fundraising to raise money to support UK-wide spinal cord injury research and associated health complications.

So, if you want to be at the forefront of Buckinghamshire's business community, coming to the Business Leaders' Dinner is the way to do it! You will join leaders of Buckinghamshire’s most successful and influential companies for an evening of fine dining and high level networking.
