Events Superhero Triathlon, August 2024 - thank you! THANK YOU SUPERHEROES! The Superhero Triathlon is the highlight event of the UK's only mass participation disability sports series. The event, which takes place in August, is fully accessible and inclusive with 3 distances to choose from so you decide how much of a challenge your superhero can take on! This year, fundraiser Kate Favell and her family took on the epic tri challenge to raise awareness of spinal cord injury, and in turn raise funds for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research - let's hear it for Kate & family! Tell me more about the event Anyone who considers themselves or a team member to have a disability of any kind can take part. You can fly solo and be your own hero, or unite with friends and family (your sidekicks!) to complete your mission as a team. Where: Dorney Lake, Eton College Rowing Centre, Dorney, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 6FJ When: August 2025 (DTBC) Choose your distance: Sprint: Swim 150m, Bike 3k, Push/run 1k Half: Swim 400m, Bike 10K, Push/run 2.5k Full: Swim 750m, Bike 20k, Push/run 5k If you want to take part as an individual you will cover the whole distance yourself. If you enter as a team, you and your sidekicks can complete the triathlon as a relay, or your team mates can assist you around the course. Dress code: A Superhero outfit… of course, to help you look & feel the part! There are no cut-off times & all types of gadgets & gismos are welcome on the course, from day chairs, handcycles, & trikes to tandems, race runners & bikes. Find out more...
