Calling all National Spinal Injuries Centre in-patients and families!

We're delighted to be hosting our first social event in Cafe Oasis on Thursday 26th January from 5pm - 7.30pm.

As well as enjoying free Fish & Chips and refreshments, you'll hear first hand from Nigel Henderson (former NSIC Clinical Director and SMSR trustee) about the projects being funded by Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research (SMSR) into the complications of spinal cord injury, eg Urinary Tract Infections, Pressure Ulcers, Neuropathic Pain, and Upper Limb Function

You'll also get the chance to meet our brilliant Ambassadors (all past patients of the NSIC - Ralph Charlwood, Jason Gunn, Davey Jose, Kat Panagaki and Jamie Polk) who will take part in a Q&A and be happy to offer any words of advice as they reflect on their lives since their injury.

To sign up simply book however many free tickets you need to include yourself and family members, and don't forget to buy some raffle tickets for the chance to win some great prizes (all proceeds to SMSR).

We really hope to see you and would like to thank Bolt Burdon Kemp for kindly sponsoring this event.

Please book your tickets by 23rd January and note this event is only open to patients, families and staff at the National Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville.

If you are unable to leave your ward but would still like a visit from an Ambassador or one of our team, or, for any other information please email [email protected]
