Calling all National Spinal Injuries Centre patients and families!

Following the success of our previous fish & chip social evenings, we are delighted to be hosting our Christmas event on Thursday 7th December from 5.00pm - 7.30pm.

As well as enjoying free mince pies and fish & chips, you will hear first hand from Derek Cutler (Research Grants Manager) about the projects being funded by Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research (SMSR) into the complications of spinal cord injury, e.g. Urinary Tract Infections, Pressure Ulcers, Neuropathic Pain, & Upper Limb Function

You will also get the chance to meet our brilliant Ambassadors (Ralph Charlwood, Kat Panagaki & Heidi Herkes - all past patients of the NSIC) along with Raquel Siganporia from Aspire Law who will be taking part in a Q&A session and will be happy to offer any words of advice as they reflect on their lives since their injury.

To sign up simply book however many free tickets you need to include yourself and family members.

We really hope to see you and would like to thank Aspire Law for kindly sponsoring the evening.

Please book your tickets by Friday 1st December and note this event is only open to patients, families and staff at the National Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville.

If you are unable to leave your ward but would still like a visit from an Ambassador or one of our team, or, for any other information please email [email protected]
